Taylor Swift Refuses to Testify in Court for Friend Blake Lively
According to The Sun: Pop star Taylor Swift does not plan to provide evidence in her friend Blake Lively's case, unless forced to—amid rumors of possible misunderstandings between them.
The singer's lawyers stated that she “did not agree” to testify and has “no material role” in this case.

Blake is filing a lawsuit against her colleague Justin Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment and supposedly orchestrating a discrediting campaign following a conflict on the set of the 2024 film 'It Ends With Us', which he also directed.
Justin's lawyers claim that Taylor agreed to testify under oath, but the singer's team denies this.
The other side is trying to use text messages between the two women as evidence.
In one of the messages, Blake noted that Taylor is one of her “dragons”.
“The only way I can be questioned by Mrs. Baldoni's lawyers is if I'm forced,” the pop icon stated.
Taylor's team asserts that the attempts to involve her in this case are “an attempt to attract public attention by creating sensational headlines instead of focusing on the facts.”
Baldoni attempted to file a counterclaim against Blake, but his case was dismissed in June.
Taylor and Blake have been friends for ten years, and she is the godmother of the actress's children with her husband Ryan Reynolds.
However, rumors are circulating that the pair are currently not communicating, as Taylor is trying to distance herself from this unpleasant court drama.
They were last seen together almost a year ago.
AFP Court Hearings
On Friday, Taylor's lawyers informed the court that “my client does not agree to testify, but if she is forced, we advised her to be available the week of October 20.”
Taylor's new album 'The Life of a Showgirl' will be released on October 3.
Blake's legal case is expected to commence in court in March next year.
