Dutch Military Assistance to Ukraine
According to UATV: The Netherlands has committed €500 million in military aid to Ukraine, with a focus on drones and the procurement of American weaponry. This funding is part of the PURL program, designed to bolster Ukrainian forces in countering aggression. Amsterdam's total contribution to this initiative has now reached €1 billion.
Memorandum of Cooperation Signed
A memorandum on defense innovation cooperation was signed between Ukraine and the Netherlands on June 17. The head of Ukraine's defense ministry traveled to The Hague for discussions on military collaboration and the advancement of new defense technologies.
Dylan Yeshilgez-Zegerius, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Dutch Ministry of Defense, emphasized the critical need to support Ukraine:
