Germany published a large-scale plan of military assistance to Ukraine until the end of 2024.
Germany will provide Ukraine with military equipment and supplies
On August 15, 2024, Germany presented a detailed list of military equipment and supplies it plans to deliver to Ukraine by December 2024. This aid package includes a wide range of weapons and equipment.
Among the key items on the list:
- Air defense systems: 2 IRIS-T SLM systems and 4 IRIS-T SLS launchers
- Artillery systems: 12 PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, 4 Zuzana SPGs, and an unspecified number of RCH 155 SPGs
- Armored vehicles: 10 Gepard SPAAGs and 30 Leopard 1A5 tanks
- Transport vehicles: 400 armored military vehicles, trucks, tankers, SUVs, pickups, and minivans
Coincidentally, the German MoD has published its own list of what is to be delivered to Ukraine by the end of the year. The list surprises (and excites)!
