Germany will supply Ukraine with IRIS-T complexes - Media.
According to sources, Germany will supply Ukraine with six more IRIS-T air defense systems. Previously, four units were delivered, two more are expected by the end of the year, and the remaining six will be sent later. These systems are designed to protect against air threats and include protection against aircraft, helicopters, drones, and cruise missiles.
IRIS-T is a modular system that can be integrated with various radar and command systems, providing flexibility in deployment. It has a range of up to 40 km and high accuracy, thanks to the use of infrared sensors. Additionally, the system is mobile, allowing for quick position changes to protect various objects.
IRIS-T is an important component of defense against Russian air attacks. It helps intercept various threats and reduces damage to the population and infrastructure.
