According to The Sun: A Dutch volleyball player who committed crimes against a 12-year-old British girl was denied entry to Australia to participate in competitions. 31-year-old Steven van de Veld will not be able to take part in the Beach Volleyball World Championship, which will take place in Adelaide next month, as his crimes are considered 'horrific'.
“These crimes are so horrific that the individual cannot be admitted to the country,” the relevant services stated.
Van de Veld pleaded guilty to three charges of sexual offenses.
