On October 18, US President Joe Biden met with the leaders of Germany, the United Kingdom, and France. The main topic of discussion was the situation in Ukraine, reports leMonde.

The participants of the meeting had disagreements regarding the proposal to allow Ukraine to carry out long-range strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the USA and Germany no longer object to Ukraine joining NATO. However, a broader support from NATO members is needed to make a final decision. It is expected that Turkey and Hungary may oppose such a move.
