Kharkiv under KAB attack, city hears explosions
The mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, reported that the city is under KAB attack and explosions are heard in different parts.
“Explosions are heard in Kharkiv - the city is under KAB attack. Be careful - there are still KABs in the air,” Terekhov said.
Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, urged residents to stay in shelters.
“Occupiers are striking. Kharkiv and the region: stay in shelters!” Synehubov proclaimed.
According to the situation report in the Kharkiv operational tactical group area, the Russian army is likely planning to resume the offensive in the Vovchansk area of the Kharkiv region.
It was stated that the situation in the Kharkiv direction remains tense, but the Ukrainian defense forces manage to contain the pressure of the Russian occupation forces.
Despite regular shelling, Kharkiv is ready for the start of the heating season. However, Mayor Igor Terekhov noted that the heating will be turned on when the average daily temperature drops to +8 degrees or lower for three consecutive days.
