David Axelrod continues to serve in the Ukrainian army after injury and operations.

According to ТСН: Olena Mozgova shared new details about her husband, singer David Axelrod, who has been defending Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

On her Instagram page, Mozgova noted that David's dedication to service has not diminished despite his injuries and prolonged rehabilitation. She mentioned that he has been part of the Territorial Defense from the first days of the war and later joined the National Guard. Olena emphasized that despite serious health issues and the possibility of staying abroad, her husband consciously returned to Ukraine and continued to serve. She expressed her immense pride in him.

“In the Territorial Defense from the first day of the full-scale invasion to the National Guard, with breaks for operations, rehabilitation, and continuous volunteering since 2014. Thank you, dear David Axelrod, for making me proud. It was strange to hear from many people in recent days: 'He was in Brussels a month ago, he could have stayed there instead of getting mobilized,'” wrote Olena.

It should be recalled that earlier Olena Mozgova mentioned that her husband suffered a serious knee injury during his service in the Territorial Defense in 2022. He landed awkwardly, leading to further damage to his already injured leg. After that, David underwent two operations and began a long rehabilitation process. However, even during this difficult time, he participated in a concert dedicated to the memory of Olena's father, Mykola Mozgovoy.
