Olena Zelenska visited a town in Kyiv region for those who lost their homes.
Wife of the President Olena Zelenska visited the 'Hansen Town' in Kyiv region, where internally displaced persons who lost their homes due to the armed aggression of Russia reside. The First Lady shared this news on her Facebook.
It was nice to meet Dell Loy Hansen, a partner of the Foundation, an American businessman and philanthropist, his daughter Missy Mins, as well as the team that implements his projects in Ukraine. - she noted.
Zelenska emphasized that together with representatives of the Foundation she visited the 'Hansen Town' in Kyiv region. More than 300 families live here, including foster families from various regions of Ukraine. The housing in the town is being built with accessibility principles in mind, and there are also sports halls, a swimming pool, common recreational space, a kindergarten, and an elementary school. In addition, a large innovative educational space is being built here, and a social cafeteria operates, providing hot meals for residents.
Olena Zelenska noted that she met the Hansens in the USA and expressed gratitude for the joint projects based on the principle of respect for human dignity.
Recall that earlier the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska met with American actor Michael Douglas and his son Dylan. Olena Zelenska also gave an interview to the British newspaper The Telegraph.
