Ukrainian athlete Lim Si Hyun set a new world record in archery at the 2024 Olympic Games. She scored 694 points, surpassing the previous record of 692 points, which was set by Kang Chae-young in 2019. In addition, Lim Si Hyun also updated the Olympic record, which was held since the previous Games in Tokyo, with 680 points scored by An San.
The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games will take place tomorrow, July 26, on the Seine River. This ceremony will be revolutionary as athletes will not walk with flags but will sail on boats. Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina will be Ukraine's flag bearer during the opening ceremony.
