Olympics. USA won the medal count, Ukraine – in the top-25.

On the final day of the Olympic Games in Paris, it has already become known that the United States of America became the leader in the medal count, winning it for the fourth time in a row. China took the second place, and Japan took the third position. Ukraine also improved its positions compared to the previous Olympics and took the twenty-second place.

The biggest breakthrough for the USA was the victory of cyclist Jennifer Valente, who defended her title as Olympic champion in the track cycling omnium. Additionally, America achieved victory in women's basketball, where they faced France. China won gold in women's weightlifting.

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris concluded with the closing ceremony. These were the first Games with an equal number of male and female participants. The sports competitions took place in Paris and other cities in France, as well as on the island of Tahiti.

1. USA - 123 medals (73 - gold, 34 - silver, 16 - bronze)

2. China - 88 medals (34 - gold, 27 - silver, 27 - bronze)
