According to the survey, Ukrainians feel safer in Germany than on average in other European countries. Many Ukrainians who left their homeland in search of safety and stability have ended up across Europe and have adapted to new lives and cultures. The safest country for them turned out to be Germany. According to the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Oleksii Makeiev, Ukrainians feel safer but are most concerned about their children's safety. Overall, only 12% of Ukrainians in Germany turn to the police or authorities when they feel in danger, but 30% turn to them when worried about their children. However, half of those who contacted the German police claim that they did not receive proper assistance. The survey covered about 1700 people.

It was also noted that the Ukrainian diplomatic representation in Germany published instructions for Ukrainians who faced discrimination based on nationality or physical or psychological violence.

A previous general survey revealed that many Ukrainians have serious financial difficulties.
