The State Transport Safety Service reported that the Register of international bus routes for general use can be found on the unified state web portal of open data data.gov.ua.
The published data contains information on all active official routes that have permit documents, both in Ukraine and in the countries through which the bus route is open.
"The disclosed data allows for the analysis of information on the number of routes, key transport directions, trends in increasing/decreasing passenger traffic. This, in turn, allows for predicting the popularity of existing routes and determining the need for additional ones. The register contains information on the name of the route, the bus schedule on it, the timetable and the list of stops, the distance, the total travel time, the route operators, and more," the post says.
As of today, there are 1237 international bus routes, and Chisinau is the most popular destination. The data is updated daily.
The published open data does not contain information that could threaten Ukraine's national security.
