Pensions of Ukrainian Stars — How Much Do Bobul, Zibrov, and Others Receive.
Among the stars of the Ukrainian pop scene, there are many pensioners. Their financial support differs little in most cases from the payments received by ordinary citizens (at least, according to the celebrities themselves). It is interesting to find out what pension is assigned to the pop stars whose names are known to almost all Ukrainians.
The website Novyny LIVE reveals how much money the state pays to Pavlo Zibrov, Ivo Bobul, Alla Kudlai, and other artists.
What Are the Pensions of Ukrainian Artists
There is no official information on the amount of financial support. The sums are disclosed by the celebrities themselves in interviews. For example, Pavlo Zibrov receives a monthly payment of 8,500 UAH, which is higher than the average in Ukraine. At the same time, the singer was confident that his status as a People's Artist and professor would positively affect his pension.
'It doesn't matter whether you are a people's artist or not, a legend or not, a professor or not. Official salaries were calculated because we worked in state structures with an official salary. The percentages in the pension fund are like this,' Zibrov shared in an interview for the project 'Alone'.
He also talked about the payments of some colleagues. According to Pavlo Zibrov, Alla Kudlai's pension is 1,000 UAH higher, so we can assume that she receives about 9,500 UAH. Meanwhile, composer Ivan Popovych, judging by his interview with 'Glavkom', only has 5,000 UAH of monthly financial support.
Ivo Bobul revealed his pension of 5,000 UAH during a conversation with Slava Dmyomin. The artist noted that talents have never been valued in Ukraine; instead, abroad, great singers can accumulate wealth until old age. Vasyl Zinkevych, who has the title of Hero of Ukraine, also receives 5,000 UAH.
What Else Ukrainians Should Know
Let us remind you that the maximum pension in Ukraine is 10 subsistence minimums for non-working individuals, which is 23,610 UAH. Such payments can be received by civil servants, people's deputies, scientists, and local government workers.
We also wrote that pensioners may face cutbacks in payments or fines if they do not inform the Pension Fund of Ukraine about important changes within 10 days. For example, about starting or ending work, obtaining an ID card instead of a paper passport, etc.
This article examines the pension amounts for Ukrainian artists, which can significantly differ from the average payments in Ukraine. Notable artists shared their financial payments, revealing some details of their social support in old age. It is also reminded about the maximum pension amounts in Ukraine and possible fines for pensioners for violations in payments.
