The reviewed agreement between the USA regarding Ukraine's resources contains stricter requirements, - media.
Kyiv rejected the new version of the agreement on Ukraine's natural resources, which contains stricter conditions. According to this document, the USA demands half of the income from Ukraine's resources, as well as a complete financial share in the fund, to which Ukraine must contribute until the amount reaches $500 billion. Under the agreement, Ukraine is to contribute two-thirds with future receipts, while the USA is to contribute one-third. For territories currently occupied by Russia, the share of income will be 66%. The new draft lacks security guarantees for Ukraine, which President Zelensky tried to include in the agreement. The US National Security Advisor stated that Zelensky will sign the agreement. Kyiv will likely be forced to sign it to gain the opportunity to cooperate with international partners regarding peaceful settlement.
