According to The Sun: Peter Andre shared 'painful and sad' news regarding his mother's health, admitting that he is overwhelmed with guilt.

The 52-year-old singer learned about his mother Thea's issues, 88, who suffers from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, and now, unfortunately, has lost the ability to speak.

Peter spoke about the struggles that arise from being so far away from his parents in Australia. He feels that his life in the UK with his wife Emily and children contradicts his desire to be close to his mother, considering her condition is worsening.

Peter's Acknowledgment

In his column for New! magazine, Peter wrote:

“It is absolutely painful. With diseases like Alzheimer's, it's hard, firstly, for the person suffering, but also hard for those who love and care for them. I see the decline happening, and I know what feelings of guilt and anxiety we, her loved ones, feel. It is very painful for everyone.”

Peter also shared an emotional farewell with his mom as he prepared to return to the UK. In the video, he gently touched her face as she tried to communicate with him. He captioned the post:

“The time spent with my mom is always the most important part of my journey. I’m not quite sure what mom is saying here, but words aren’t always necessary. I will be back very soon. I love her so much; I hope she knows that. I also love Australia. But now, I’m returning to my children.”

In this context, Peter's ex-wife, Katie Price, spoke about her “16 years of hell” after separating from him. She reminisced about their relationship, emphasizing that 'there were three of us in the marriage.' Katie, 47, appeared on stage alongside Kerry Katona, 45, at the launch of the ‘An Evening with Katie and Kerry’ tour.

Kerry jokingly referenced Peter at the start of the show, apologizing for having brought them together in the “I’m a Celebrity” camp. After four years of dating, their marriage ended in May 2009, and the divorce was finalized four months later.

Katie noted that when Peter met in the jungle, he already had a team of managers ready to handle his career.

She also quoted a famous saying from Princess Diana, describing the relationship between King Charles and then Camilla Parker Bowles:

“Well, he already had a manager. When I left because I wanted to be with Pete, and Pete wanted to be with me, I had to be careful with my phrasing.”

Katie continued:

“[Pete's manager] eventually started managing me and Pete, and… There were three of us in the marriage.”

Katie previously also mentioned a recent controversy related to their daughter Princess’s new reality show on ITV2 called “The Princess Diaries,” where she spoke about being banned from participating.

Katie explained:

“These are memories. They were very good memories. I have suffered for 16 years because of it, since the divorce; I have been through 16 years of hell.”

She added:

“But I’m glad that the truth is coming to light now on social media, and people see.”

This situation highlights the emotional difficulties that can be experienced when relatives suffer from serious illnesses. Peter Andre openly talks about his feelings and experiences, as for many people caring for loved ones, this can be not only physically but also psychologically exhausting.

At the same time, Katie Price’s comments about their relationship reflect how difficult it can be to remain in the shadows of celebrities and experience personal tragedies publicly. These events undoubtedly spark interest among their fans but also remind us that behind every public face are human experiences.
