PFU simplified the procedure for submitting documents via 'Diia'.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine introduced the possibility of using electronic documents
The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) announced that it is now possible to do without photocopies, scans, or photos of main personal documents in their service centers.
Instead, there is the possibility to use electronic documents from the 'Diia' mobile application through sharing.
According to the PFU press service, to use this opportunity, a user of the 'Diia' mobile application simply needs to open their digital documents, select the required document, and generate a barcode. Then, the user needs to tell the PFU employee the 13-digit code indicated under the barcode. The service center employee will enter the code into the information system, and after that, the user will receive a request for a copy of the digital document. This request must be confirmed with 'Diia.Signature' on the smartphone. After successful application of the digital signature, a copy of the document in pdf file format and metadata will be sent to the PFU system.
This new method of data exchange can be useful for receiving pensions, subsidies, benefits, insurance payments, as well as appointing social services, considering issues regarding assigned payments, changing personal data, and receiving funeral assistance.
PFU guarantees that this method of data transmission is secure. Data is transmitted in an encrypted form and can only be decrypted by the government body that requested it. The encrypted package is sent to the agency's server only after the user's consent in the 'Diia' application. Each digital document copy contains information about the recipient, their branch, and the date of formation. Compliance with personal data protection legislation requirements is ensured.
