Warm and sunny weather is expected this weekend due to the influence of a high-pressure area covering much of Eastern Europe. Most regions will have little cloudiness, light winds, and minimal precipitation. Only on Sunday, thunderstorms, hail, and gusts may occur in the western and northern parts of the country.

On Saturday, dry and mostly clear weather is expected in the west, with daytime temperatures reaching +27...+32 °C, and up to +36 °C in Transcarpathia. Other parts of the country will also be sunny and warm, with temperatures ranging from +26 to +33 °C.
Weather on Sunday, August 17
On Sunday, short thunderstorms and possible showers with hail are expected in the west, with air temperatures ranging from +23 to +28 °C, and up to +33 °C in Transcarpathia and Bukovina. In the rest of the regions, it will be dry and hot, with temperatures up to +35 °C.
