Poltava athlete broke his own Guinness record in one-arm pull-ups.
Ukrainian Vitaly Shovkoplias, an international-class master of sports, set a new Guinness world record for one-arm pull-ups in a minute. He managed to perform 26 one-arm pull-ups on the bar. The previous record, also held by Shovkoplias, was 25 pull-ups in a minute. This achievement is recognized as the best in the world and recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. The weight of the athlete who broke the record is 93 kg, which debunks the myth that weight is crucial in performing strength exercises. One-arm pull-ups are a technically complex exercise with a high risk of injury. Shovkoplias performed the exercise with perfect technique, which allowed him to break the record. This confirms the inclusion of his name in the Guinness Book of Records.
