Heat up to +37°C and thunderstorms: weather forecast for August 6 in Ukraine.

Weather forecasters predict that on Wednesday, August 6, there will be short-term rains with thunderstorms in the western and northern regions of Ukraine, as well as in most central regions. Hail and gusty winds are expected in some areas. This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Forecaster Natalka Didenko predicts that the heat in southern Ukraine will increase to +33...+37 °C. The eastern regions are expected to have +29...+33 °C, and the central regions will experience +28...+33 °C. Thunderstorm rains are forecasted in the west, north, Vinnytsia region, and in places in Poltava and Cherkasy regions, while the rest of the territory will have dry weather.

In Kyiv, up to +26 °C is expected, along with rain and thunderstorms, and there is a possibility of gusty winds and hail. In some places in Ukraine, strong heat and downpours are forecasted. There are also reports of bad weather in the Krasnodar region of Russia.

Warm weather is expected in most regions. It will be very hot in the south of the country. Only in the western regions is a decrease in daytime temperature expected. Night temperatures will range from +14 to +19 °C, in the south up to +23 °C. During the day, western regions will experience +18...+23 °C, while in the northern and Vinnytsia regions it will be up to +24...+29 °C. In the rest of the territory, temperatures will rise to +30...+34 °C, and in the south it will reach +35...+37 °C.

Warning about dangerous meteorological phenomena

In the night in Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia regions, and during the day in Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions, thunderstorms, localized hail, and gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected. Weather conditions may complicate the work of various enterprises and transport movement.
