Presidential Campaign in the USA: Harris and Trump Are Tied.
Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump have equal chances of winning the presidential election in key states, according to a CBS News/YouGov poll.
49% of voters are ready to cast their votes for Harris, while 47% for Trump. Independent candidate Robert Kennedy is supported by 2%.
The crucial battle is for the leading states that will determine the election results. The main favorites - Harris and Trump - have equal chances of winning.
According to the poll, both candidates have 48% support in Michigan, 50% in Pennsylvania, and 49% in Arizona.
Trump has a slight advantage in Wisconsin (50% against Harris's 49%), Georgia (50% and 47%), and North Carolina (50% and 47%). Harris slightly leads Trump in Nevada (50% against 48%).
The poll was conducted from July 30 to August 2.
The next presidential election in the United States will take place on November 5, 2024.
