European support for Ukraine could waver under the next US president — Media.
Ukraine continues to conduct operations in the Kursk region. Likely, President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to create a buffer zone on Russian territory and counts on diverting Russian troops from eastern Ukraine.
However, the success of the Ukrainian army depends on reliable arms supplies and the constant political will of its Western allies. In particular, Zelensky is trying to get permission from Britain to use Storm Shadow missiles against targets in the Kursk region, but it seems the British Prime Minister is holding back from deploying them due to fears of the US reaction and possible nuclear escalation from Russia, reports The Times.
