Priscilla Presley Reflects on Her Relationship with Robert Kardashian in New Book

According to The Sun: Priscilla Presley has shared memories of her romance with Kim Kardashian's late father, Robert Kardashian, in her new autobiography.

The widow of Elvis Presley, 80-year-old Priscilla, is set to release her second book titled 'Elvis and Me: Life After Elvis' on Tuesday, September 23.

After her divorce from Elvis and a relationship with karate instructor Mike Stone, Priscilla began dating Robert in 1975.

She recalls that they were introduced by a mutual friend who was dating Robert's brother, Tom.

“Robert was a nice man, and I liked him,”

- Priscilla wrote.

However, due to Robert's demanding job, they could not spend much time together. Priscilla also noted that Robert was eager for marriage, while she was not ready for that after the divorce.

The pair remained close friends, and Priscilla recalled that Kim called her from the hospital shortly before Robert passed away from cancer in 2003.

“Robert and I managed to talk once before he died,”

- she wrote.

“He was one of the sweetest people, and I remember him with great love.”

Priscilla also mentioned that Elvis interfered in their relationship — once he called her at two in the morning while she was with Robert.

“He would have just exploded, maybe literally, if he found out that Robert was in my bedroom,”

- she said.

“Elvis always carried a firearm with him, sometimes more than one.”

Eventually, Priscilla added that Elvis never found out about Robert, and Robert never found out about that late-night call.

It is worth noting that Robert, a well-known lawyer, later married Kris Jenner in 1978, and they had four children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Jr. The pair divorced in 1990.

Priscilla Reveals Secrets in Her Book

In the book, she discusses her dramatic marriage to Elvis, high-profile relationships after the divorce, and the tragic death of her daughter Lisa Marie at the age of just 54.

“We were there all day,”

- Priscilla told People magazine ahead of the book’s release.

“Lisa was basically not breathing, so they put her on a ventilator. We waited, hoped and prayed until the doctor came in and said: ‘Priscilla, I’m so sorry, she’s gone.’ We just couldn’t believe it, didn’t want to believe it. It was hard for all of us, and still is.”

Priscilla wrote her first book, 'Elvis and Me: The True Love Story of Priscilla Presley and the King of Rock 'n' Roll', in 1985.

Elvis' Threats

According to previous reports, Elvis was very jealous after divorcing Priscilla in 1972 and quickly became seriously involved with Mike.

Priscilla claims that Elvis threatened to hire a hitman to kill her boyfriend.

“In the weeks after my departure, he told the guys that Mike needed to be eliminated,”

- she wrote, adding that Elvis turned to his right-hand man Joe Esposito to take action.

“He even asked Joe to find a hitman.”

Luckily, Elvis eventually calmed down, and no hitman was hired (he died at the age of 42 in 1977).

In her book, Priscilla also discusses the tragic death of her daughter Lisa Marie in 2023, who passed away at the age of 54 due to a sudden intestinal blockage.

“It was unbearable. I started crying. I don’t remember how I fell. I know Ivy [Priscilla’s cousin] supported me,”

- she wrote in an excerpt for People.

“After that, everything went dark. I can’t remember. I don’t want to remember.”
