The producer of Dancing with the Stars revealed who declined to participate in the show.
According to ТСН: The producer of the charity special edition of 'Dancing with the Stars' Volodymyr Zavadiuk revealed some details about the show.
Changes in the list of participants
On December 28 at 20:00 on the '1+1 Ukraine' TV channel, 12 star couples will compete for victory. However, according to the producer, this year's list could have looked different. Volodymyr Zavadiuk admitted that they planned to involve two of the most popular artists of the modern Ukrainian scene — Artem Pivovarov and Jerry Heil. However, they will not be able to participate in this episode.
Reasons for the artists’ refusals
Zavadiuk explained that Artem Pivovarov had to decline due to a busy concert schedule. He has a series of large performances at the 'Palace of Sports', which takes all his time for rehearsals and participation in the show. The project team understood this situation.
As for Jerry Heil, the producer stated that the singer actually wanted to perform but decided to focus on preparation for 'Eurovision', which also became a valid reason for the refusal. Zavadiuk believes that when a full season with more episodes takes place, she will definitely agree to participate.
'Among the participants should have been Artem Pivovarov, but we understand: seven 'Palaces of Sports' — it is really difficult. Therefore, we accepted it with complete understanding. Jerry Heil was also supposed to be. She really wanted to. I believe that when there is a full season, with more episodes, she will definitely participate. Right now she chose 'Eurovision' — and we understand that too,' emphasized the project producer.
In conclusion, we remind you that very soon 'Dancing with the Stars' will return to the air. Follow the news about where and when you can watch the show, what surprises are being prepared, and how to vote for your favorites.
