Reasons for working behind the bar

On the 'Good Morning Britain' show, Rupert explained why he decided to help: “Our pub closed a few months ago and has problems, like many others. It is a village pub, and without it there is no opportunity for communication.” The actor noted that the residents decided to save the establishment and took on work schedules.

Later he confirmed that his next shift would be at the end of the month. “I’m still doing pretty well,” he noted, inviting everyone to stop by.

Possible sequel

During the interview, Rupert also mentioned a possible sequel to the film “My Best Friend's Wedding” with Julia Roberts: “I believe negotiations are underway for a sequel, but I can't say what decisions have been made.” He added that the details of the plot are not yet written, but work on the script is ongoing.
