The decision on the approval of the head of the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB) has been postponed until August. The government refused to agree on a candidate to avoid an even greater scandal. This was reported by a source from Novyny.LIVE in the Verkhovna Rada.
The Cabinet may reject the candidacy of the head of BEB due to a 'sensitive' issue raised by the SBU. Details of this issue are not disclosed. The government, according to a source in the VRU, refused to agree on a candidate to avoid further scandal.
It should be noted that earlier the Cabinet refused to approve the director of BEB after analyzing SBU materials regarding national security. The winner of the competition was detective of NABU Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi. The government is also preparing major personnel changes and plans to replace several key officials.
During the consideration of the candidacy of the head of the Bureau of Economic Security, the government postponed its decision until August due to a 'sensitive' issue raised by the SBU. This decision led to the temporary suspension of the process of agreeing on a candidacy and avoids even greater scandals in the political environment.Read also
