Russia is mass attacking railway hubs in Ukraine: which stations are under fire.
According to inkorr.com: Since the beginning of July, Russian 'shahids' have been actively attacking important railway stations throughout Ukraine. This was reported by Oleksandr Pertzovsky, the chairman of the board of JSC 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
Attacks on key stations
'Shahids' are mass attacking our key stations. Examples include attacks on Lozova station, Synelnykove station, and Koziatyn station. That is, they are hitting at junction stations practically all over the country,' Pertzovsky emphasized.
He also noted that these attacks are aimed at destroying energy substations, locomotive depots, and passenger terminals with the intention of completely destroying railway hubs.
Heroism of employees
'The enemy is hitting in such a way that, essentially, the hub would be destroyed,' added the head of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Oleksandr Pertzovsky expressed gratitude to the company's employees for their heroism in restoring damaged infrastructure during repeated attacks.
'Even when key junction stations are under attack, we do not cancel trains. We find ways to adjust the schedule, but we always operate. And Ukrainians appreciate this. They thank the railway workers for such resilience,' Pertzovsky emphasized.
Ukraine has officially reported large-scale attacks by Russian 'shahids' on the country's railway infrastructure, aimed at destroying important hubs. The head of Ukrzaliznytsia noted the heroism of workers in restoring damaged facilities, even during constant assaults.
These attacks pose a serious threat to railway transport in Ukraine, which not only affects passenger transportation but also freight logistical routes. Restoring infrastructure requires significant efforts, but Ukrzaliznytsia workers demonstrate resilience and readiness to continue their work despite the dangers.
