Russia is developing new 200-kilometer bombs: what is the threat to Kyiv.
Development of new guided bombs
According to inkorr.com: Russian forces are actively working on creating a new generation of guided aviation bombs capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 200 km. This poses a serious threat to Ukraine, particularly to the capital — Kyiv. Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky noted:
“these bombs will radically change the threat landscape for the country.”
Use of new weapons
New guided aviation bombs stand out for their high precision and can hit various targets. Currently, Russian aviation is actively using these munitions to attack Ukrainian territory. The emergence of 200-kilometer guided bombs may complicate the situation for Ukrainian troops and air defense systems.
The need to prepare for new threats
Ukraine must be ready for new challenges and respond quickly to changes in the enemy's tactics. The growing danger from Russia may require strengthening cooperation with international partners to ensure collective security.
Thus, the development of new types of weapons pushes Ukraine towards more active actions in defense and cooperation with allies. Preparing to counter new threats becomes a priority for military and governmental structures in order to maintain the autonomy and security of the country in this difficult situation.
