Russians prepare an offensive in the Kharkiv region: Third assault unit assessed the situation.
Russian invaders are preparing for an offensive in the Kharkiv direction
Russian troops are pulling armored vehicles to the Kharkiv direction, indicating their preparation for an offensive. This was reported by the commander of the Terra unit, Mykola Volokhov from the 3rd separate assault brigade with the call sign Abdullah.
«Recently, we have observed an increase in armored vehicles and RF activity in the use of tanks and BMPs. Trying to penetrate through the defensive lines of the Defense Forces, the occupiers conduct reconnaissance-in-force», - he noted.
According to Volokhov, the Russians are preparing for «rasputitsa» — the time when it will become impossible to use equipment as it is now. They want to improve their positions and oust Ukrainian troops from the area they recently recaptured, the military added.
Previously, Russian invaders opened fire on their own units in Vovchansk.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have developed a new strategy in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation with the aim of rapid movement and encirclement of Russian troops. Ukraine is forced to mitigate the shortage of manpower in the army due to delays and insufficient Western military aid; however, Kyiv is doing everything possible to make this less noticeable.
