Russians want to deploy Chechen special forces to Vovchansk.
The occupiers plan to bring the Chechen special forces "Akhmat" to Vovchansk, but this is more likely self-promotion, said the spokesperson for the "Kharkiv" group Vitaliy Sarantev.
According to Sarantev, the enemy has relocated some units to the Kursk direction, but this does not mean that their forces have significantly decreased. On the contrary, the enemy is using operational reserves. He also noted that a large number of personnel are being brought to our direction.
Nevertheless, Sarantev stated that the presence of "Akhmat" units in Vovchansk is more about self-promotion than active actions. Even the Russian command does not rely on them.
Recall that the Ukrainian military have pushed back the occupiers in the Kharkiv region, stabilization battles are ongoing. The city of Vovchansk is 90% destroyed, with only 20 people remaining in it. The occupiers are also forming a new brigade to support their "Sever" group in the Kharkiv region. The AFU promises "good news" for Ukraine in the Kharkiv direction.
