Russians have changed tactics in the Slobozhanske direction: focus on drones and mobile groups.
Intensive attacks and new enemy tactics
According to inkorr.com: In the southern Slobozhanske direction, the enemy regularly shells the positions of assault battalions with artillery and conducts massive drone strikes. This was reported during a telethon by the commander of the 92nd separate assault brigade, Orest Pavlytsko.
According to him, the enemy strikes both at the forefront and deep into the brigade's positions. They are trying to gather an assault group and move closer to the frontline for an attack. However, all these attempts are detected in time by reconnaissance and neutralized. Even despite the camouflage, the enemy can be identified — near Lyptsi, Ukrainian military actively use thermal capes.
'The activity of small infantry groups and mopeds, motorcycles, buggies remains. Heavy equipment is standing somewhere. We see it. We know where it is. Occasionally they change their positions, but it is currently used as some kind of reserve, as an armored group, to repel some of our assault actions. Overall, purely pedestrian groups, motorcycles, buggies, and directly UAVs of various types are currently being used', - noted the commander of the 92nd OSBr.
Adaptation and new approaches
These changes in the enemy's tactics indicate their adaptation to the conditions of hostilities, allowing for a reduction in losses of heavy equipment by concentrating efforts on light mobile groups and drones.
During the telethon, Orest Pavlytsko emphasized the intensive attacks and new tactics of the enemy, which indicate effective interaction between light mobile groups and unmanned systems. This allows the enemy to reduce losses of heavy equipment and adapt to new conditions of hostilities, complicating the situation for the Ukrainian military.
