RuTube hacked by Anonymous.
According to the hacker group Anonymous, they hacked the Russian video hosting RuTube. According to experts, the service is likely irrecoverable. According to the hackers, more than 75% of the main version's databases and infrastructure, and 90% of backup copies and recovery clusters have been seriously affected. It is likely that RuTube may disappear forever.
The management of RuTube, which had ceased operations due to the hacker attack since May 9, contacted the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, with a request to clarify the situation.
According to The Village Russia programmers, the attack began on May 9 at around 5 a.m. The hackers completely deleted the site's code, making the video service unrecoverable.
