The worst city in Scotland for partner infidelity has been identified.

According to The Sun: Two hurricane beaches north of the border have been identified as some of the worst in the UK for infidelity.

A dating expert claims that there are three ages when you are most likely to cheat, along with living in one of the 20 cities where the most infidelity occurs, and the likelihood that you or your partner will get into trouble is much higher.

The place in the UK where people are most likely to engage in passionate affairs outside their relationships is Salford, according to Ashley Madison.

This Lancashire city was followed by its larger neighbor, Manchester.

In the northeast, Newcastle upon Tyne was identified as the third worst place in the UK for infidelity.

North of the border, two largest cities were included in the list of the 20 most notorious cities in the UK for infidelity.

Edinburgh was placed 16th, while Glasgow, Scotland's largest city by population, took 18th place.

Christoph Kremer, Managing Director of Europe at Ashley Madison, said: 'It is very interesting to see that Salford and Manchester are again recognized in their rightful places as the capitals of non-monogamy in the UK.

'However, our ranking for 2025 shows that it is not just the big cities where people explore relationships outside of traditional norms.

'We are very pleased to see so many applications from smaller places, such as Oxford and Lincoln, this time, indicating that more and more people are seeking relief from the age-old shackles of monogamy and exploring their own needs this summer, no matter where they live.'
