According to Novyny.live: The rock band Lavina will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. They secured their place by winning the national selection final, Pesma za Evroviziju '26, held in Belgrade on February 28th. Competing against 13 other acts, Lavina triumphed by earning the maximum 12 points from the professional jury and also won the public televote, receiving 29,759 votes for their song 'Kraj mene'. The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the world's largest non-sporting television events, making this a significant platform for the band.

Lavina was formed in 2020 and released their debut studio album, 'Odyssey', in October 2022. The group has prior international experience, having previously represented Serbia at the global competition The Song 18, where they finished in 12th place.
