Former Ukrainian tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky commented on Vitaliy Sachko's victory over Oleksandr Bublik from Kazakhstan in the 1/8 finals of the ATP 250 tournament in Metz, France. He wrote on Instagram: 'Hugging after the match with Bublik, to later say 'Glory to Ukraine'.

According to inkorr.com: Vitaliy Sachko surprised everyone by defeating Oleksandr Bublik, who has a Russian past and previously played for the Russian national team. The match took place at the ATP 250 tournament in Metz, France, and ended with Sachko's victory in three sets.
Tennis player Elina Svitolina announced her decision not to play until the end of 2025. She explained that the reason for this was psychological exhaustion from intense performances. Svitolina noted that she does not feel ready to play and decided to end the season after the match against Italian Jasmine Paolini.

Elina shared her feelings: 'Recently I have not felt like myself. I am not in the right emotional state and not ready to play, so I am ending the season. Over the years, I have understood that this sport is about being ready to fight and giving your all. Right now, I am simply not at that moral level to do it.'
She emphasized that she needs more time to rest and recover to return to the court in the best shape.
Sergiy Stakhovsky expressed support for Vitaliy Sachko, who achieved an important victory, thus highlighting the patriotism of Ukrainian athletes.
