According to The Sun: The mansion that once belonged to the late Sir Terry Wogan is valued at £3.75 million. It has been on the market for four weeks now, but still has not received any viewings.

The presenter’s son, Mark, blamed Chancellor Rachel Reeves for 'killing the property market' with her tax plans.

He and his siblings decided to sell the family home after the death of Terry's wife, Lady Helen Wogan, who passed away at the age of 88 in September.

The couple, who spent 51 years together and raised four children, bought this seven-bedroom house in Buckinghamshire in 1975.

The house features a tennis court, pool, croquet lawn, fruit orchard, and a view of Windsor Castle.

“It's interesting that Rachel Reeves is being talked about for killing the property market. She's already done it.

Sadly, my mother passed away last year, and now we're trying to sell the family home.

You would think someone would come to view it, just out of curiosity: 'Oh, I’d like to see Terry Wogan's house.'”

“But no one came. No one. That’s how dead the economy is.”

He also added: “It’s a bargain. I’ll show it to you.”

Rachel Reeves has tasked the relevant staff at the Treasury to introduce radical changes to the tax system to attract funds and stimulate economic growth, raising concerns that this may further complicate the property market.

The proposed changes are thought to include the abolition of the stamp duty and its replacement with an annual property tax fee or an increase in property taxes for expensive homes.

The Chancellor plans to make this reform a key point in her autumn budget, battling the country's multibillion-pound budget deficit.

Terry Wogan died of cancer at the age of 77 in January 2016. He also left a significant estate, including a trust fund of £100,000 for each of his five grandchildren, which will be available when they turn 25.
