Syrskiy announced the results of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the use of drones: The Commander-in-Chief named the most successful units.
Ukrainian military destroyed more than 54 thousand enemy targets in December using drones, of which more than half were kamikaze drones. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskiy on social media.
According to Syrskiy, the most effective work was demonstrated by the units of the 46th Airborne Brigade, the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade, the 28th Mechanized Brigade, the 35th Marine Brigade, and the 3rd Assault Brigade. The actions of the BpS regiment commanded by Major Robert Brovda were particularly successful.
Syrskiy noted that Russians are increasingly using strike UAVs with a fiber-optic control channel, which pose a threat to our equipment. In this regard, Ukrainian military also began to use FPV drones on fiber-optics to destroy Russian equipment and personnel.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasing the number of brigades with enhanced drone components and developing the concept of a special BpS brigade. Particular attention is paid to the development of drone systems of the 155th Mechanized Brigade.
