A woman in the USA found 2000 dollars in a thrift store piggy bank for 11 dollars.

According to ТСН: A shopping trip to the Goodwill thrift store in the USA turned into a real discovery for a local resident. While purchasing an old piggy bank that cost less than 11 dollars, the woman found over two thousand dollars in cash.

She shared her find on TikTok, where she blogs under the nickname Miles8Katrina. She noticed a vintage piggy bank shaped like a pig with a bright 3D design. This item looked strange and even scared off other shoppers, who called it 'ugly', but it was precisely this that caught Katrina's attention.

The piggy bank cost 10.99 dollars – about 463 hryvnias. When Katrina got home, she decided to open it and discovered 2028 dollars in cash inside – that’s over 85 thousand hryvnias. The money was neatly packed in eight tied plastic bags. Among the bills were old 100 dollar notes, as well as several twenty dollar ones, bound with rubber bands.

Katrina noted that she often finds unusual things at flea markets, but such an amount of money surprised her for the first time. After this find, she decided not to sell the piggy bank but to keep it for herself.
