Tragedy in Sports: Two Exceptional Athletes Have Died
According to inkorr.com: The death of Iranian volleyball player Saber Kazemi has been recognized as brain death. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referring to information from the Iran Volleyball Federation.
Kazemi, who was 26 years old, won the Asian Championship in 2021 and at the Asian Games in 2018 and 2022. He was also recognized as the most valuable player of the Asian Championship in 2021. Recently, the volleyball player signed a contract with the Qatari club 'Al-Rayyan', but during training, he sustained a severe brain injury that led to a fatal outcome.
The incident occurred in the hotel pool where the team was staying. Kazemi entered the water and received a strong electric shock. After that, he urgently needed resuscitation.
Meanwhile, the cause of death of 46-year-old former world boxing champion Ricky Hatton has become known. Coroner Alison Match reported that the boxer was found unconscious in his bedroom, where he committed suicide.
Relatives had not seen Hatton since September 12. His sudden decline in condition was a shock to everyone.
The day after Hatton failed to appear at the event, his manager found the boxer unconscious at home.
The sports world is experiencing two significant losses related to the deaths of outstanding athletes. These tragedies have left a deep mark on the sports community and in the hearts of fans around the world.
