According to ТСН: Lead singer of the band 'Lisapetnyy Battalion' Nataliya Falion candidly spoke about the difficult moments in her life.

The performer was married for about 40 years, having met her husband back in their student days. However, only after turning 60 did she realize that she had spent a lot of effort trying to change a man who struggled with alcoholism.

Harsh Experience

In an interview with the YouTube project TSN 'Alone,' Falion shared how her partner had held back her development for years while she played the role of a 'happy woman.' Looking back, she regrets this experience and understands that she should have left such a relationship earlier.

'It’s very painful that so many years have passed not as I would have liked. Each of us dreams of being respected, consulted, and physically supported. Unfortunately, none of that existed. For some reason, I remember more negative things. Maybe that’s wrong. I had to play the role of being fine when it wasn’t. Although I try to remember less and look for pleasant moments. I switch to something else. It’s a turned page. Sometimes I even get angry at myself for spending so much time hoping that the person I lived with would overcome addiction and enjoy life. I wanted it so badly, but my husband did not. I spent so much effort, but achieved no result,' the star shocked in her conversation with Anna Sevastyanova.

A New Stage in Life

Nataliya noted that the biggest difficulties were not only the years of living together but also the realization of missed opportunities. However, after her husband's death, her life changed dramatically for the better, filled with peace, creativity, and positive emotions.

'A lot of health and nerves were lost. I envy people who figured out they didn’t match and separated. They are strong. But I couldn't. I lost so many years. In these last years, I lived much more and have a lot more positive memories since my husband passed away. It was seven years. And I remember them like all the years before. A different life began,' Nataliya remarked.

Moreover, Nataliya shared how her granddaughter was diagnosed with sarcoma and what lessons she learned from this situation.

This candid story of Nataliya Falion about her life's trials shows how important it is to acknowledge one’s feelings and emotions. She found new strength and inspiration after significant losses, which can serve as an example for many going through tough times. Life always offers new opportunities, and now Nataliya focuses on the positive changes and experiences gained in this new phase of life.
