Solomiya Vitvitska recently purchased property in Kyiv but received criticism on social media due to debunked accusations. She was accused of taking money for the apartment from the charity fund of children's hospital 'Okhmatdyt'.
In an interview, the TV presenter explained that she earned the money for the property on her own. She also retained funds from the sale of two apartments in Lviv and Kyiv, which she sold with her ex-husband in 2021. Part of the money for the purchase was borrowed.
Solomiya Vitvitska is a co-founder of the 'Okhmatdyt - Healthy Childhood' fund and a member of the Supervisory Board, which oversees the hospital's reconstruction after the shelling in 2014.
