No Magnetic Storms Expected on June 21 as Solar Activity Calms Down.
Sun Remains Quiet, Storms Absent
According to Novyny.live: On June 21, Earth is not expected to experience any significant magnetic storms. The geomagnetic conditions will be either calm or slightly unstable, meaning no major shifts in the magnetic field are anticipated. Solar activity for that day stays at a low level, and the chance of powerful flares remains minimal.
Over the past 24 hours, scientists recorded four B-class flares and one C-class flare. The probability of a minor geomagnetic storm is just 5%, while the risk of a severe storm is reduced to 1%. Meanwhile, the likelihood of an M-class flare stands at 15%, with X-class flares having only a 1% chance. Currently, the sunspot count is 15.
Weather Conditions in Ukraine
At the same time, air temperatures in Ukraine are set to reach +32 °C, bringing hot weather to the region. As a result, June 21 promises to be a calm day both in terms of magnetic storms and overall weather patterns.
This quiet geomagnetic environment, combined with the absence of strong solar flares, could positively affect people who are sensitive to changes in the magnetic field. It also offers favorable conditions for astronomers and those monitoring solar activity. Additional weather data indicates that the heat in Ukraine may encourage outdoor activities, but caution is advised to avoid overheating and dehydration under high temperatures.
