Trump's Special Envoy Kellogg Plans to Resolve the War in Ukraine in 100 Days.
Trump's special envoy stated his intention to end the Russian-Ukrainian war within the first 100 days of his presidential term
Kellogg, Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, stated on Fox News that the newly elected president intends to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian war within the first 100 days after his inauguration. He emphasized Trump's desire to end this conflict as soon as possible and preserve Ukraine's sovereignty.
'People need to understand: he is not trying to give anything to Putin or the Russians, but is actually trying to preserve Ukraine and its sovereignty. And he will ensure that it is done fairly and justly,'Kellogg emphasized.
Kellogg criticized the approach of current President Joe Biden, calling the refusal to engage in dialogue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin 'the biggest mistake.' He noted that Trump is willing to engage in such dialogue and proposed a 100-day timeline to find a solution to end the war.
Recall that Kellogg was appointed as Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and planned to visit Kyiv and other European capitals in early January to gather information for Trump's future administration.
Donald Trump stated at a press conference that he plans to end the war within six months of taking office and blamed the Biden administration for its approach to the conflict.
According to Kellogg, both sides of the conflict may be ready for peace talks due to exhaustion. However, Trump's team has stated that any meetings with Putin would be considered unacceptable until they officially return to the White House.
