'Mentally, Russia has always been foreign to me. I have Ural blood from my mother. I do not consider Ural blood to be Muscovite. The Urals are a completely different historical and ethnic topic,' the singer emphasized.
Ruslana Lyzhytsko noted that she feels close to Europe and considers Russia a foreign country. She will avoid performing in Russian in duets with Russian performers and expressed sharp criticism towards Russians, calling them 'spiritual beggars.' The singer claims that Russians try to appropriate cultural values and history, showing disrespect for the heritage and symbols of other nations.
