Zelensky presented a plan to end the war

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US Permanent Representative to the UN, at a press conference before the start of the 79th UN General Assembly, acquainted herself with President Zelensky's peace plan to end the war.

We have seen President Zelensky's peace plan. We believe it lays out a working strategy. We need to understand how we can facilitate this by talking to heads of state in New York. We hope to make progress. This is what we are here for.

Thomas-Greenfield noted that the USA has always strived for peace and President Joe Biden has been working on the situation in Ukraine and Gaza over the past two years.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on the military filling of the Victory Plan, where he announced the preparation of a strong military package to strengthen the country's positions. There was also a meeting on F-16 fighters, during which issues of increasing their number and pilot training were discussed.
