It became known who will play the main roles in the new HBO series about Harry Potter.
The cast for the series based on the 'Harry Potter' novels
The HBO channel has already secured actors for the main roles in the television series based on the novels by J.K. Rowling about Harry Potter. Harry will be played by Dominic MacLoughlin, Ron by Alastair Stout, and Hermione by Arabella Stanton.

The casting directors and executive producers expressed gratitude to all the children who participated in the casting and showcased their talent. The announcement about the start of work on the series was made in April 2023, and by September 2024, open casting for children aged 9 to 11 began.
The upcoming series will also feature actors Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, John Lithgow as Dumbledore, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid. A mini-city will be built at the 'Leavesden' studio for the filming of the 'Harry Potter' series in Ukraine, with a planned release in 2026.
