TCPC Office: procedures for receiving fines

Conscripts will be able to find out about the fine for untimely updated military registration data in the 'Diia' application. However, this does not mean that everyone who did not update the data by July 16 will be immediately fined. This was reported in the broadcast of 'Radio Liberty' by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Dmytro Lazutkin.

Lazutkin says that bringing to responsibility for an administrative offense is a certain procedure that can take from three months to a year.

«We are not saying that everyone will be fined automatically. From three months from the day of detection and up to a year from the moment of committing an administrative offense, proceedings can be opened. A fine is a certain procedure. It's not that everyone who hasn't updated it today gets a checkmark and an automatic fine. There must be protocols and a resolution. Accordingly, people will learn about these fines just as they learn about speed limit fines, in the same 'Diia' application it will be possible to do this», said Lazutkin.

According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, military registration data can still be updated in the CCC and in the 'Reserve+' application, but now this does not exempt from fines, since the 60-day period for updating military registration data has expired.

Conscripts who have already updated their military registration data within the period specified by law will not be detained on the streets by CCC employees.

«The person met the norm of the law within the specified period, updated his military registration data, and indicated his place of residence. So, a VLK direction can be sent there. Accordingly, there is no point in 'catching' this person in the street. Let's be honest, there were unpleasant processes associated with this that negatively affected and will continue to affect the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, when they try to forcibly drag someone out at checkpoints. Representatives of the CCC and the SP should not do this, they have no such powers. Only police officers can do this according to the law», he stated.

Recall, the police will have the right to detain and deliver conscripts who did not update their personal data from 18.05.2024 to 16.07.2024 directly to the Territorial Recruitment Centers.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explained the norms of the law on updating military registration data and fines provided by law.
