Oleksandr Usyk, the world heavyweight boxing champion under WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO versions, will defend his dissertation titled 'Administrative and Legal Support for International Cooperation in the Field of Physical Culture and Sports'. He intends to defend his dissertation to obtain a degree of 'Doctor of Philosophy' in 'Law' at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

According to the ranking of the highest-paid athletes in 2024, Oleksandr Usyk ranked 7th, earning 122 million dollars in a year. The leader of the ranking was footballer Cristiano Ronaldo with an income of 260 million dollars. Overall, representatives of football, basketball, boxing, and golf entered the top 10.

Oleksandr Usyk also stated that he plans to have two more fights before the end of his career. He is ready to compete against the winner of the fight between Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker for the title under the International Boxing Federation version.
