Craig Revel Horwood's Estate Renovation
According to The Sun: Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has given his fans a rare glimpse into his vast estate, which is currently undergoing a major renovation ahead of the new season.
Craig bought the house in Northamptonshire for £1.8 million in 2021 and has finally turned to builders to realize his perfect home.
Craig shared photos of the interior which was completely torn apart, along with a pile of construction debris outside the building. One shot showed a huge pit at the site of the renovation.
Despite the exposed beams and walls, Craig remained optimistic, stating that his dream of a home is already in the process of being realized.
"What a find, AFD Construction certainly isn't wasting any time," he noted in his post.
He also added: "If you're in the East Midlands and looking for a great team, they are worth it."
Professional dancer Neil Jones asked: "One question, will there be a bath in my room?"
Singer Sam Bailey appreciated his post: "Wow!"
Craig had previously shared before-and-after pictures of his white kitchen before the demolition began.
"After what felt like an eternity, the renovations have finally begun. I hope our full renovation will be completed in two weeks, but it may take a little longer!" Craig wrote on Instagram.
Previously, the kitchen featured white cabinets and gray marble countertops, as well as a large kitchen island in the center of the room. One wall was clad in shiny gray tiles that matched the white fixtures.
The floor was laid with dark-colored stone tiles, which were also set to be replaced during the renovation.
Craig's fans actively supported him, praising his style and wishing him luck in the renovation process.
During the first two years of ownership, the value of Craig's seven-bedroom estate has likely increased by £235,000.
Craig had previously talked about moving from London to a small community in Northamptonshire.
"I moved in October 2021, so this happened quite recently, but the village atmosphere here is incredible – I had never felt this before," he noted in an interview.
"In London, you are ignored, and in Hampshire, where I lived in a cottage, I had a mile-long road and no neighbors, so it's nice to be a part of a community again. Everyone is very nice – there is even a pub and a shop that I can walk to, it's just wonderful. People love to chat, and it's very welcoming and lovely here."
The renovation project of Craig Revel Horwood's estate promises not only to create a comfortable living space but also highlights his new lifestyle beyond the big city. Moving to Northamptonshire allows him to enjoy a calmer atmosphere and integrate into the local community, which will undoubtedly positively impact his personal life and career in show business.
