Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Abroskin - former first deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine. Former head of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast, former head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, Police General of Rank III.

Place of Birth. Born on April 20, 1973, in Russia.

Professional Activity. He began his service in law enforcement in 1994 as the operational head of the law enforcement department of the Lenin District of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Sevastopol. He devoted the next 20 years to law enforcement. He rose from an operative to the deputy head of the law enforcement department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

During this time, he held leadership positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sevastopol, and in March 2014, he became the head of the department for the investigation of property crimes and search work of the law enforcement department, deputy head of the department. He left Crimea after its occupation by Russian troops.

On November 9, 2014, he was appointed head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast by the decree of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

On November 6, 2015, he was appointed head of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast by the order of the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Khatiya Dekanoidze, in coordination with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov. Abroskin received the special rank of Police General of Rank III.

Starting from March 10, 2017, he was appointed as the deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine.

From July 19, 2017, at the suggestion of the head of the National Police, Sergej Knjasev, he was appointed the first deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine.

On September 12, 2019, he was dismissed from his position as deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine.

In October 2019, Vyacheslav Abroskin was appointed rector of the National University of Internal Affairs in Odessa.

On October 8, 2021, he was dismissed from the position of rector of the National University of Internal Affairs by the decree of Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrski. The reason cited was systematic neglect of official duties.

Awards. Awarded the Order 'For Courage' III Class (August 21, 2014) - for personal courage and heroism displayed in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, and highly professional performance of official duties.
